✨ Basement Bedroom Closet Build & Remodel | Colorado Springs

✨ BASEMENT BEDROOM CLOSET CONSTRUCTION | COLORADO SPRINGS, CO

Transforming an unfinished area into functional living space requires careful planning, quality craftsmanship, and attention to detail.

For this basement bedroom project in Colorado Springs, I'm The Man Services constructed a new closet to provide additional storage while creating a clean, finished appearance that complements the existing room.

From framing and drywall to painting and finish carpentry, this project brought together several remodeling services to create a practical and attractive bedroom upgrade.

✨ PROJECT HIGHLIGHTS

✔️ Custom basement bedroom closet construction

✔️ New interior wall framing

✔️ Closet opening and door installation

✔️ Electrical coordination for lighting and outlets

✔️ Drywall installation and finishing

✔️ Knockdown wall texture

✔️ Drywall priming and painting

✔️ Interior door trim installation

✔️ Finish carpentry and detailing

✔️ Seamless integration with the existing bedroom

✨ CUSTOM CLOSET FRAMING

The project began with constructing a new framed wall to define the closet space within the basement bedroom.

Careful measurements and layout planning helped ensure the new closet would provide useful storage without unnecessarily reducing the bedroom's available living space.

✨ DRYWALL INSTALLATION & KNOCKDOWN TEXTURE

Once framing and electrical work were completed, drywall was installed and finished to create smooth, consistent wall surfaces.

A matching knockdown texture was applied to help the new construction blend with the existing bedroom walls.

✨ PAINTING & FINISH CARPENTRY

After the drywall was prepared, the new surfaces were primed and painted to coordinate with the room's existing finishes.

The closet door and surrounding trim were installed to complete the transformation and give the space a clean, professional appearance.

✨ THE FINISHED RESULT

What started as an open area of the basement bedroom became a functional closet with finished walls, coordinated texture, fresh paint, and a neatly trimmed doorway.

The completed project adds valuable storage while maintaining a consistent appearance throughout the bedroom.
